Hello and welcome to the website for Diabetes UK's Glevum Voluntary group.
There are around 8,000 people in Gloucester city with diabetes, 26,000 in the county. Diabetes UK estimates that there are around
1.1 million in the UK who are unaware that they have the condition.
The aim of the group is to provide information, understanding and friendship for
local people with diabetes and their carers, or anyone that has an interest in diabetes.

We will try and keep this site as up to date possible, but occasionally this may not be possible, in this case please bare with us,
we will get round to it. If this is the case, please contact the Group Secretary or Chairperson for up to date information by using

However the monthly meetings are always held as advertised, although occasionally the speaker may be changed due to circumstances outside our control.
